Kelley Meehan, PT, PCS  is the Owner of Meehan Sports Therapy and Pediatrics.  She received her bachelor’s of science degree in physical therapy  from University of Maryland in 1987 and completed her final internship at  The Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore.  She has practiced physical therapy for over 25 years in a variety of settings,  including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, outpatient facilities, schools, and on the field at sporting events.   She has partnered with orthotists in both Maryland and Texas fitting pediatric patients  with orthotics and developing new custom orthotics for sports participation.  After moving to Texas in 2004, she used skills that she gained while working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to develop the first NICU Follow-up program at  Our Children’s House at Baylor Grapevine.

As an active member of The American Physical Therapy Association, she participates in the Pediatric, Sports therapy and Private practice sections. In 2010, Kelley was nominated for the DFW Hospital Council Employee of the Year Award. She has worked as an adjunct faculty member for The University of Maryland School of Physical Therapy teaching growth and development, is a Certified Clinical Instructor and has instructed students in Kinesio taping at UT Southwestern School of Physical Therapy.

Kelley became a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy in 1996, and is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner and Emergency Responder.

Amy Dilts is our Facility Manager and a wonderful asset to the team.  Amy loves interacting with the patients and family members and will go above and beyond to ensure that your needs are met and that you are completely satisfied with your experience at Meehan Sports Therapy & Pediatrics.

Amy received her Texas State Board Certification in Pharmacy in 2001.  She has worked for 30 years in human resources, cardiology, pediatrics and surgical medical office management.  Amy has extensive experience dealing with all types of insurance specialties to ensure families will receive the best coverage possible for their treatment.
